I'm cost-reducing a consumer board and the reset supervisor IC is on the chopping block in favor of a simple RC network. I know the supervisor handles brownout properly, but the PM is pushing hard on BOM cost. Has anyone shipped RC-only reset in volume and lived to tell about it?
