My unity-gain buffer drives about 200 pF of cable capacitance and it rings badly on steps. I know the textbook fixes: isolation resistor, noise-gain shaping, or a snubber network. The isolation resistor is easiest but costs bandwidth. Which approach do you reach for first in production designs?
