My 25 MHz crystal starts fine at room temp but fails to oscillate below -10 °C on about one in five boards. The load caps are per the datasheet and the drive level looks okay. I'm wondering if it's marginal negative resistance or just capacitor tolerance stacking. How did you nail down your cold-start culprit?
