My K-type thermocouple readout drifts about 2 °C when the enclosure warms up, and I thought my cold-junction compensation was correct. The CJC sensor sits a few centimeters from the terminal block. Is that distance enough to explain it, or should I suspect the amplifier's offset drift instead?
