One of our boards has an I2C sensor bus that locks up roughly once every 24 hours, and of course it never reproduces on the bench. I've checked pull-up values and rise times look fine. I'm starting to suspect a marginal slave holding SDA. What long-term capture strategy actually caught your intermittent I2C culprit?
