I have a 12 V to 3.3 V buck at 500 kHz and the switch node rings at about 180 MHz no matter how I route the loop. I shortened the high-current path, added an RC snubber, and the overshoot dropped but the ringing persists. Is this just unavoidable parasitic inductance in a two-layer layout, or am I missing a layout trick?
