We need to see the actual switching current in a GaN half-bridge, and our current probe's bandwidth and insertion impedance are both questionable. A coaxial shunt would be cleaner but means cutting into the layout. For high-speed switching measurements, when do you trust a probe versus insisting on a shunt?
